Interlibrary Loan Request
This service is reserved for the faculty, students, and staff of Northwestern.
You may use interlibrary loan to obtain the full text of articles, book chapters, or books you discover while conducting research for personal scholarship and completing assignments. It is not a replacement for purchasing textbooks or specific articles assigned to you by your instructor that are considered “required reading.”
Books or articles owned by Northwestern cannot be obtained through interlibrary loan – please check the catalog before making requests.
You will be notified of arrival by University email or you may check the status of your request at the Information Desk.
