Rachel Brehmer says Northwestern provided her with a leading edge education. “Northwestern is a well-established and organized natural healthcare university focusing on medicine, research, and applicable experiences in the art of practice.”
Brehmer says the networking opportunities she experienced added valuable wisdom to her education. “Networking and business knowledge were the most useful tools I learned while attending Northwestern. Connecting with other healthcare practitioners, along with the wisdom of Northwestern professors, was priceless.”
Beyond networking, Rachel says the massage therapy techniques she learned while at Northwestern have made her the massage therapist she is today. “I was confident of my skills by my graduation in 2005.” She is now the owner of Hands of Life Massage Therapy in St. Cloud, MN.
A recipient of the 2007 Alumnus Award from Northwestern, Brehmer continues her work and is happy with the support she has received since graduation. “They care how you are contributing and allow you to be involved in the university’s activities and continuing education events.”
Brehmer puts Northwestern at the top when it comes to massage therapy schools. “I want prospective students to know that this is the school to come to for massage therapy. It will be challenging, filled with discovery, fun and inventive. But best of all, it will leave you well-rounded and experienced for your new profession.”
