Northwestern Health Sciences University is home to on and off-campus Student Learning Clinics
Students gain confidence working with members of the campus community and the public. Supervised by successful clinicians, they learn to treat a wide variety of patient populations and grow as future practitioners.
NWHSU’s Student Learning Clinics create the next generation of healthcare professionals and provide integrative healthcare to the community. Our academic programs focus on preparing students for clinical success early on in their education. This is apparent in our student clinics, where patients can expect professionalism and attentive, evidence-informed care.
We have two Student Learning Clinics available on campus. Our academic programs and clinical rotations support students in their growth from learner to practitioner: from classroom training to their white coat ceremony, to their first clinical rotation and through their last. Depending on the clinic, student interns in on-campus clinics may be just getting their start, or they may be near graduation.
NWHSU is committed to expanding access to integrative care and ensuring that students gain experience working with diverse populations during their internship experiences. For that reason, we run off-campus clinics throughout the Twin Cities.
